hello dawn

i teach all over the state (and beyond), but most of my classes are in and around the bay area. i've never taught in sonoma county but i'm familiar with the plants up there and would be most interested. i've wanted to do a mt.saint helena class for awhile, which i guess is in napa...but close enough! i teach classes in the sierras and in the desert as well. one of my main focuses is on medicinal/edible plant botany. i teach from a plant family perspective and find that it is a quick way to get folks to pick up the major points. on field trips i also weave phytochemistry, medicinal uses, harvesting/preparation methods, ethics, safety issues, etc into my teaching. i teach powerpoint lecture courses as well, and often incorporate both components into classes if possible. i come from a strong moore/eclectic background, but am not limited to that approach. i teach a popular advanced medicine making class series as well. for a more comprehensive look at what i teach just do a google search for: tellur fenner. a lot should come up. sadly, my website is coming along slowly and needs much work (hard to do it all!). let me know if you have any more specific questions. as far as tea goes...that sounds fine. i'm available most weekdays in the evening and occasionally on weekends. let me know a few possible times and i'll get back with you on whether i can make it. look forward to meeting you.

take care,

tellur

hello dawn

yes, i remember beth from my classes out at pt.reyes and at the s.f botanical garden. she mentioned she worked with billy jo (an old acquaintance) at an herbal coop in sonoma county....i guess that's birdsong. looks like you ladies have a nice thing going on up there. great to see more folks bringing herbs to the community. there is a need for it. my email is bluewindbmc@gmail.com lets keep in touch. always nice to have more herbal connections for pharmacy trades, support, references, etc. take care.

great to hear back from you. I think moving during finals was a mistake. But people do crazy things.... like my wife is pregnant (we're pregnant?) she's at 32 weeks and we're going to NYC this weekend for fun. She can barely walk around the block.... perhaps NYC is not the right choice at the present time. but it seemed like a good idea when we bought the tickets 4 months ago. This term I've already spent

Hey Luv! Yes, I'm sad we didn't get together, too. We will, though. I don't wanna rub it in (hehe), but we had a great time the other day and you were missed dearly. We'll do it again! Just cuz break is over doesn't mean the summer is. Boh-boh! You going to Power to the Peaceful this weekend? Hit me up! Besitos!
