Yes, yes, yes Hena! Sounds like you are moving forward. Perhaps the switching to tea from coffee is a metaphor for something else you are moving towards (or away from). Good news either way! So glad that you were there. I appreciated your presence and insights. S

Glad to have you aboard!
You have to check w/Sara about available space. Of course you can skip out when you have to take a test! Someone's got to be reasonable about such things....

I miss seeing you in class, Henna! And thanks for letting me know about the mercury retrograde; that explains quite a bit, actually!
Feel free to drop in on our class when the mood hits.
In the meantime, wishing you well....

My current state of mind:
frazzled, burnt, frazzled, taxed, warped, uncertain - yet good :-)
My Tagline:

Acupuncture education/license level:
1st Year
My acupuncture story:
Acupressure was the beginning of my TCM experience. I loved it!!! I worked for an acupuncturist (as a massage therapist) who insisted that I get into Acupuncture school. She didn't offer to pay for it, but she insisted.

I bounced the idea of attending Acupuncture or Chiropractic school for a year or two. I accidently called AIMC thinking it was the school in San Francisco. Roselle was AWESOME. She really helped me to get off my bum and move through my fears that were blocking me from making a move. I'll name a group of my new stressed induced gray hairs after her :-)
My favorite modality:
Right now I'm burnt out with bodywork but I still love massage
About Me:
I'm 38, originally from OHIO - yes, I know. .. please forgive me. I am a slightly burnt out massage therapist currently living in Redwood City but moving to Berkeley at the beginning of the year - not just for school but because I love Berkeley.

I'm finding school exciting and at times overwhelming. As you all know, there is so much to learn and remember. I'm not moving through as quickly as I originally attended. I have dropped classes to maintain my sanity and have learned to accept that I may not receive my diploma along with my friends who began this journey with me. I have NO regrets about being in school. Breaking bad study habits (like cramming on BART) and trying not to panic as I listen to stories of acupuncture mishaps, nearly fainting when I see the price tag on ONE book - not to mention the other 5 books required for class - is all part of the process that leaves me pulling out hair and smiling at the same time.
