Hi There!
Is anyone interested in going in on a group discount for some of the first trimester textbooks??

Hey Abby et al,

This is Dave Caruso-Radin, I am the Dean of Student Affairs at AIMC Berkeley and I run a book buying program at the school. Essentially I have arranged a wholesale account with Redwing Books (www.redwingbooks.com). They carry mostly Chinese medicine texts. I place orders in volume and then can get them for students at anywhere from 10-25% off of the list price (depending on the wholesale rate) + tax. Within the next week or so the Director of Admissions, Roselle McNeilly will be sending you the first trimester booklist. After you get the list you can place an order with me if you'd like. Unfortunately as of May of last year some publishers have decreased the wholesale discount. When that happens I can only offer those at a 10% discount. Sometimes you can find those books at a cheaper rate. Just let me know if you want me to order any books for you. My e-mail address is, dcradin@aimc.edu. Welcome to the AIMC Berkeley community.

Peace,
Dave

Hi All,

As I mentioned in the orientation letter, you can view the booklist here: http://aimc.edu/UserFiles/File/requiredtexts.pdf. Remember, you don't need the books listed as reference texts- just the required books! That will save you a lot of money. You're welcome to participate in the student book-buying program, as outlined by David, or to seek out the books online or at East Wind books in Berkeley.

Thanks!
-Roselle
